This 25-year-old association has helped Philippe's descendants
(typically the Truax, Truex and Trueax families and their descendants)
keep in touch, research their heritage, and publish member-supplied information.

• Association Background and History
• There is also a "Where We Are" page showing where all 'named' descendants of Philippe were living in late 1996. Names searched for include Truax, Truex, Trueax, duTrieux, etc., and are listed by U.S. state and Canadian province.

The "House of Truax". This reflects the 1926-28 New York Genealogical and Biographical Record (NYGBR), as updated by Thura Truax Hires and Allan Truax in about 1930. Up to 10 generations of Philippe's descendants are listed, spanning the early 1600s through about 1900.

• After an introduction & description that outlines the information and provides a legend, the first section of Philippe's children and grandchildren has links to many other sections with his further descendants.
• A chart diagrams the relationship of the various sections of generation groupings. Print it out and save it for reference.
• The ENTIRE "House of Truax" is listed and linked (see note below), three generations at a time, with spouse and year of birth/death/marriage.
• NOTE: this website currently contains only the contents of the "House of Truax" as published in the NYGBR, as updated from Thura Hires and Allan Truax notes.

• A Coat of Arms (#1) researched by Theodore de T. Truax, around 1900 (in b/w).
• Pictures of a carved Coat of Arms (#2) from a fellow Association member.
• Coat of Arms #3 and Coat of Arms #4, in color were sent in by a fellow DuTrieux descendant from Belgium !!
• Another Coat of Arms picture, an 'ex libris', or book label (?), also from our friend in Belgium.
• Coat of Arms #6 was sent in by a fellow DuTrieux descendant.
