OUR BIOGRAPHYPersonal: "Our Day Job"
Susan and Harry own and operate a Dental Laboratory "Rusch Dental Prosthetics"
Susan manufactures the crowns and bridges and Harry, the Partials and Dentures.
The business was established in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 1945 by Jack Rusch Sr., and continues today in Northern Indiana.
We are known as the" Local Toothfairies"...
Ten Years formal instruction in Tap and Ballroom dancing.
Found country dance in 1981 in Jacksonville, FL, where I briefly belonged to the "BootScooters" Dance team.
I was very fortunate at that time to have had a great Country Dance Instructor for two years, "Ray Kelly", who encouraged my abilities.
I have competed in Line dance Choreography, and placed each time, with "Rockabillies Schuffle", "West 48th St. Rag", "Cotton-Eyed Joe (the line dance)", and "Dancin' Feet".
Harry and I are on the original Board of Directors of Amarillo Star Dance Club, formed in 1988 in Northern Indiana.
We are very active in the club, and currently serve as Treasurer, Membership Chairman and Newsletter Editor.
Harry and I have also been Northern Indiana NTA Directors for 3 years and have only missed one National Meeting since the inception of NTA.
Kwikstep Productions, our DJ and Dance company was formed in 1993.
We have done dance conventions, and currently teach and DJ special events under this name.
Harry and I have been teaching since 1989, competed on the "Amarillo Star Bandits" dance team for 3 years, and had a hand in choreography for the team.
